lovely cottage , nice location, bit out of the way ,think you definitely need to drive, but made a lovely change for us , liked the fact that check out was a bit later than alot of places ,needed the lie in . thank you

Lovely cottage in a beautiful spot

Spacious cottage in a beautiful, peaceful countryside location in the grounds of the owners estate. Great space for our dog who loved the spacious and well enclosed garden for a spaniel. Amazing for those evenings under the stars. Very little light pollution. Sadly it certainly needs some TLC in the kitchen as door handles were very loose. Unfortunately on our stay I don’t believe the sheets in the back bedroom were clean as they had a strong body odour smell. We were visiting for a funeral and although an iron is said to be included it wasn’t there on arrival so had to purchase one from Tesco’s 20 mins away and we didn’t receive a response to our message about this. For those wanting to watch live TV there is no TV aerial. So only apps are available. Although internet is stable enough to stream programs. All in all a nice cottage and location perfect for a short stay but could benefit from some modernising in areas

Really enjoyed my stay here. Was in a beautiful setting and surrounded by lovely countryside. 4 pubs and 2 restaurants all within a 30 minute walk. An all round fantastic stay!

Peaceful and unspoiled stay. Comfortable house. Beautiful and authentic countryside all around.
