Place was lovely and easy to feel at home in

Good location for Hampton Court about a 20 minute walk or bus stop right outside flat. Host was responsive to queries and dealt with them promptly. Kitchen had amenities to be able to cook, beds were comfortable and shops/restaurants were close by.

The apartment was clean & spacious, but we faced a few challenges. Ventilation was a bit tricky, the room felt stuffy unless windows were open, which led to quite a bit of street and neighbor noise. We also noted a recurring smell of cigarette smoke in the bathroom area. Regarding the parking, it’s worth noting that it isn’t a dedicated private spot, so it can be a challenge to find space nearby. Additionally, we found the checkout instructions a bit overwhelming due to the emphasis on potential extra fees for cleaning, even though a cleaning fee was already included. Overall, while the residential area is fantastic and convenient, the current value and comfort level didn't quite meet our expectations.

I booked this apartment so my friends and I could explore Surrey, and it was the perfect base. Hampton Court Palace is only a 5-minute drive away, and we also visited Brooklands Museum and Strawberry Hill House and Gardens. The Surrey Hills are just 30 minutes away too, so there’s no shortage of things to do. The apartment itself was exactly as pictured — no surprises, just a very clean, well designed and curated space. The host was communicative without being overwhelming, which made the whole stay seamless. We’re hope to come back soon.
