Central location near to castle, bars and food outlets. Located at the bottom of multiple high rise flats. No kerb appeal. Rubbish bin overflowing at front of property, smell of damp when entering, iron leaking, light in bathroom not working and sweet wrapper ion the floor in one bedroom. Garden was awful too. Did not feel safe coming back at 11pm and decided we did not want to stay so left.

Stayed for work as working in the nearby area.The house is in a rough area, we felt where we parked our van wasn’t safe & feared it would get broken into and tools taken.Crack heads in front & back of the house, the back garden was extremely overgrown, and unsightly, you wouldn’t want to sit in it. The back gate was broken & we had to wedge it shut as we feared the ‘drug dealers’ behind the house dealing could get in the garden and break in the house. The TV is an old smart TV so ‘live’ wouldn’t work on ITV app. We booked for 2 nights but left after 1 night and booked a travelodge due to feeling unsafe. We told the host on arrival we would only stay 1 night, and would leave by 8am the next morning, we felt this was ample warning and would have appreciated to be reimbursed for 1 night, but no offer was made.

This house is right with all of the flats. Had crackheads outside the window almost every night being loud and crazy. Then to top it off the host randomly tried to charge an extra £50 2 weeks after we left for “cleaning fee”. Scammers.

Absolutely loved our stay and how responsive Sophie was. Clean space and quiet environment. The Kids enjoyed their stay as well.

We had a great stay at Sophie’s place the house was clean and comfortable and had everything we needed. It is not in the best of surroundings but perfect location for Drayton manor and Tamworth itself. There are plenty of shops, restaurants and bars within walking distance. Overall we had a great stay here
