Lovely flat right in the centre of Rothesay. Flat is done up to a high standard and has everything you need for a great stay in Bute. Would highly recommend.

we enjoyed our stay, the flat was well appointed and tastefully decorated with stunning views of Rothesay bay. Alan was an excellent host. couple of suggestions - a shelf for toiletries in the shower area of the bathroom would be helpful and the 2nd bedroom could do with a bedside table and lamp.

Beautiful views from the bay window. The apartment was well furnished, spotless and in a nice quiet location. Because we are in our 80's we found the hill a problem so we used the local taxi service rather than our car. We had a wonderful break in the sunshine for our 4 night break in Rothesay.

Pleasant stay in a peaceful environment with a beautiful view

Nice small apartment but let down by a few flaws. They offer an all singing and dancing shower (multiple water streams) which really appealed to us as we were in Bute for walking. Unfortunately the trickle of water that came out was pittiful and did not even allow us to use any of these features. It took ages to wash your hair and wash down shampoo or body wash. (very surprisingly as the water pressure everywhere else in the appartment was strong). We were provided with 1 hand towel for 4 people for our stay and there was no bottle opener nor a cork screw, only 3 breakfast bowls and no cloths for drying dishes. The bed in the second bedroom is squeezed into a very small space, no space for bedside tables lamps or even walking beside the bed. The positives: lovely view across the bay, very clean, decent beddingand a lovely host. Price for the 3 nights was good and despite the shortcomings of the apartment we did enjoy our stay.
