We visited Edinburgh from Kent, England, for EJBF26 and to visit Logos Hope, and this lovely home was the perfect base for our family (my wife, daughter, and me). From the moment we arrived, it truly felt like a "home away from home." The house is modern, bright, spacious, and beautifully presented. It was very clean and fresh, the beds were comfortable, the large 75" TV was a great bonus for relaxing in the evenings, and we also enjoyed the lovely garden and the peaceful surroundings. The location was ideal for us. It's in a quiet neighbourhood with parking right outside the house, yet only around 10 miles from Edinburgh city centre, which was an easy drive. We actually preferred staying here rather than in the busy city centre. For EV drivers, having an IONITY fast charger just a couple of minutes away, along with a Co-op and a lovely restaurant nearby, made everything incredibly convenient. Lovely home in a upcoming area. Bus stop a short walk away into Edinburgh, takes around 45 minutes. Supermarkets are available in the area for groceries, but you will need to take the bus or hire a car. We did enjoyed our stay, but we had a few snags with the curtains in the house as we were unable to use a usual and had to improvise. Place is very spacious and clean! We felt very safe and right at home. Not far from the city, and there is a train station nearby. Neighborhood was very quiet and peaceful, would recommend staying here!
