There are a lot of good things to say about this apartment. Really close to the pier, beautiful view of the seafront, lovely decor, ticked all the main boxes for kitchen amenities and towels etc. We had an issue with the lock, which wasn't working so that the door could be opened just by pushing on it. Which was a safety issue and having our young children with us, we felt pretty uneasy. To be fair, the host sent a locksmith - but only after suggesting that we simply weren't operating the lock properly. This back and forth meant the locksmith wasn't with us until 11pm. However, to his credit he managed to fix the lock in 20 minutes, with drilling so quiet he didn't wake any of the kids. The apartment also has a couple of small issues. light not working in small second room - it flickers. Bathroom drain very slow suggesting a blockage. Also, be aware that parking is very tricky. Not really an easy, legal spot to load /unload. Luckily we got away with using a loading bay on arrival
