Property was great and we enjoyed our stay. However the initial checkin process was frustrating, as the host sent a link to a different site/ platform for checkin and wanted us to pay a deposit before giving us checkin details. The host was insisting on a deposit (£60! nonrefundable or £300! refundable a few days after check out) even though this info was not in the property description or breakdown when we paid. We would not booked id there was another fee. After some back and forth we had to report the issue Airbnb confirmed the host cannot charge extra fees and on a different platform. It was unfortunate and uncomfortable situation, specially as we only got the check in information the morning of our travel. It maybe the host was unaware of the Airbnb rules as it appears to be a relatively new listing but it ruined the booking experience for us. The property itself is in a great location, quirky and fun decor. Safe building, and had good utilities. We enjoyed our stay.

We had a wonderful stay. The apartment is on the 2nd floor and its location is unbeatable, just a 1 min walk to the beach, which made the morning and evening stroll at the Margate beach effortless. Andrea was a fantastic host; her communication was prompt and made the whole experience seamless from start to finish. We couldn't have asked for more.

Me andy friend had been let down on last minute before we set off and had a find a replacement flat nearby and we found Andreea's apartment on the site, which looked very nice and thankfully with thanks to Air BnB support and Andreea's quick response we stayed at a beautiful apartment on 2nd Floor opposite Margate Beach, where it was easy to enjoy at a walking distance. The flat was very clean and as described on the description. We were grateful and thankful the place was available immediately.Andreea was very responsive with any queries we had and as it was hot few days and struggled to open a window in one bedroom's. Andreea provided us with a fan when requested which was a great help within the hour. Would recommend this flat with great views overseeing the beach and has everything you need. I would happily come again in the near future when visiting Margate . Thank you Andreea and for those after a great view, this apartment is recommended 😁
