No tobacco smoking indoors. Cannabis products are okay. (Different molecule composition means cannabis is easy to clean whereas tobacco seeps into fabrics and walls.) Vaping either is fine indoors. Ozium is provided, please use it to clean the air, don't ash on the carpet, and avoid blowing smoke near the smoke detector or it will really harsh your buzz (those suckers are loud!). Small events & gatherings are permitted with prior approval only. A cleaning fee may apply because more people means more work to clean up. Content creation is welcome here. We'd love to see what you create. Livestreaming is limited to 1 device. (Starlink is great but has its limits.) There may be county-wide fire bans that prohibit open flame fire pits and outdoor smoking. Be fire-wise and help protect our beautiful mountains and this historic home. Please, no candles in the home. We have LED candles to help set a romantic or relaxing mood. If something breaks, don't sweat it. Just let us know so we can repair it or replace it. Accidental damage is forgiven easily. But if you tear through the house with a sledgehammer on a bender, excessive damage may incur repair fees. Pet Rules & Requests: • Dogs yes, Cats no (sorry we're allergic), Iguanas ... maybe? • If your dog (or child) soils the carpet or furniture, please use the small Bissell steam cleaner (stored in the laundry room) to clean it up, and let us know so we can deep clean the spot after you leave. • We love cuddling with dogs too, but if your fur-baby is a shedder or a scratcher, please have them lay on the provided doggy blanket (it has paws) rather than on the furniture directly. This helps us protect things and clean up for the next guest. • If they are prone to separation anxiety, we provide a crate so they don't tear anything up while you're away. Excessive damage from panicky pups may incur a repair fee. • The enclosed dog run area is the part of the yard where you entered the house. Please watch your dog rather than leave them free to roam —there are some gaps that eager small dogs could squeeze through, and big dogs could jump the fence. Please clean up doggie dookie with the provided bags. It's perfectly fine to play with your pup in the open yard or parking area, but be mindful of critters and cars that could taunt them into a chase. After booking, we'll ask you to review and agree to a rental agreement and will ask for a photo of your ID. This ensures you are you and that we're checking off all the compliance things we need to do. This also enables your stay for $1,500 worth of accidental damage coverage at no cost to you! It only takes a couple minutes and there's no app to install. Once this is completed, we'll share your door code the day before arrival. Long-term stays (more than 28 days) require a lease agreement & background checks.
