Nice house in a good location

Amazing easy clean house 🥂🥂

We stayed here for 6 days because there was building work going on at our place and we needed a place to be during half term with our son. Firstly Ciaran’s communication is excellent and he’s really attentive. The house did the job for us - bedrooms are comfy and clean. TV/wifi were essential and they were all good. Lounge could do with an extra chair we reckon but we managed to all fit on the sofa. Kitchen is fairly basic but had all we needed including a washing machine which was really helpful for us. The area isn’t the prettiest bit of Altrincham but handy for lots of shops etc. There was a small issue with the hot water but Ciaran was fast to respond and offer us options. We had a discounted price that I was happy with - I might have been disappointed if I’d paid full whack. £20 per hour for late or early checkout. Good to have the option - maybe a bit expensive? A ‘nice enough’ house and well looked after by host.

The place was not clean upon check-in, I had to call to request the cleaner to come back. The property required significant cleaning before we felt comfortable staying. The boiler and hot water stopped working twice, which we eventually got fixed but if you read previous reviews sounds like this happens alot!! It doesn't really look like the photos, especially the kitchen! The property is hosted by an external company which means every time there is a problem you speak to someone different and have to explain yourself all over again. The company said they would give us money off a future booking but we will not be booking again as too many issues this time.
