Clean and comfortable stay and responsive hosts

The house was perfect for our needs, clean and walkable to the beach

Bad experience at the flat. Front Door handle rusted & door was filthy. Piles of letters showing flat had been unoccupied for a long time. The flat smelt musky & you could feel the dust in the air. The flat had clearly not been cleaned or dusted in a long time. Host apologized & sent round a cleaner who did a quick hoover & dusted the window sills. Ended up having to hoover again. Including sofa which was filthy. Bedding was covered in dust had to remove the duvet covers. Once again they replaced them the next day but used no common sense and put the dirty dusty blankets or throws back onto the clean bedding making it dirty again. Hot Shower not working properly & it's a right faff to get any hot water coming out of it. We had to spend ages trying different techniques to get hot water out of the shower tap. When you eventually do it fluctuates between Boiling & Freezing. Heating was temperamental. Hive not working. Host no longer responsive. So far no Compensation. Awaiting response.

Nice, communicative. Resolved my issues quickly and positively, and overall I was satisfied with the solution.
