This lovely little townhouse could not be better placed in the beautiful quiet leafy district of St Leonard’s, five minutes walk from The Quay and with its own lovely set of shops and bars/restaurants on Magdalen Road. Then five minutes on from that is the Cathedral and the town centre. The house is very homely and has all you need with good quality sheets and bedding. There is a small park around the corner with a children’s playground. There are weekend and after 6pm on street parking places around but for ease we opted for the pay and display (RingGo) carpark 2 mins away on Magdalen Road. There are some JustPark spaces too. Ended up not using car at all and walked to train station (10mins) and caught train to Exmouth. Top tip…walk down to the Quay and follow the river downstream to the Double Lock pub.

We had a pleasant stay at Victoria's house. It is just as described and per the photos - clean, modern appliances, and generally comfortable (apart from the beds). The location is a quiet residential street, and easily walkable to centre of city, the lovely Quay area, and restaurants/shops on Magdalene Road including a small Budgens (we hadn't brought shower gel and didn't realise none was provided, but no problem as it's only 5 mins walk). Victoria was a warm, friendly, helpful host and a good communicator. Everything went perfectly smoothly. The only negative was the beds. This may be subjective as another guest has described them as very comfortable. The main bedroom mattress doesn't provide good support, you feel all the springs and hear them creaking & squeaking as you turn over. I woke with a back ache each morning. The other bedroom mattress is very soft and similarly provides poor support. This aside, it was great, and we'd recommend Victoria's place for a city break.

Really lovely place a quick walk from the centre and also the quay. It was a great space for the four of us and we had a fantastic time - thanks for letting us stay 😊
