A completely renovated attached house in a quiet part of Consett. Everything is very clean and there is enough water pressure with a reliable temperature e.g. for the shower. The property can not yet be recommended for cooking though: Pans are cheap and the teflon is scratched. As shown on the fotos, there is only the 'lounge' with sofas and the small low coffee table. We knew when booking that the house is well designed but the fittings are not so useful for meals.

Our stay was lovely and quiet. It was spotlessly clean. We were visiting family in another village which made this an ideal location. Not far from superstore and other amenities which was helpful. We also took the opportunity to take a walk along a walking trail nearby which was a bonus.

I have mixed reviews on this property. The good, it was clean and exactly like the photos showed and was quite spacious. And had the potential to be a great Airbnb. The bad, the location felt very unsafe, the walls were extremely thin and you could hear everything from next door, the beds were extremely uncomfortable and the pillows were clearly budget pillows and offered no support. Lastly there were a few things missing which you’d expect such as bowls and cooking utensils. We actually decided to leave the property a day earlier than planned due to these reasons. Toast Lettings however we’re very responsive to my messages sent prior to check in.
