Loved our stay, the house was spacious. It was ideal for our large group (including two babies and two toddlers). Great kitchen for cooking and gathering. The bedrooms were decent sizes, lovely and warm. The majority of the group enjoyed the sauna after the hikes. The village has lots to do, yummy coffee, places to eat and ideal for hiking Snowdownia with handy bus routes and train available. The host is really responsive, reacts quickly, for example when we arrived the house wasn't cleaned from the last guests. They immediately had a team over to clean the house. They were lovely and didn't mind us hanging around the house with the kids while they cleaned. We all enjoyed our stay, we had so much fun playing the piano and having singsong in the evening. Great place to relax after a day hiking or activities.

DON’T book this place. We read quite a few bad reviews so I contacted the Guestz team who reassured me that everything had been sorted out and “to give them a chance, you won’t be disappointed!!!” Needless to say we were. We arrived at 16:30 to a house that had not been cleaned from the previous guests leaving. I contacted Natalie who arranged a cleaning team to come but they wouldn’t be there for an hour. Once they arrived they said they would be 2 hours. Natalie suggested that we went to a local pub for dinner and they would reimburse me. Which they did. We (6 adults and 3 children) had taken around £200 worth of food for our stay. Including the first night. Some of the problems we encountered were. A broken double bed, a cot with the base snapped in half. The Aga wouldn’t stay lite. The main oven only worked on the grill setting. The plug in the kitchen sink doesn’t hold water. The kitchen bin is absolutely disgusting. I can’t write any more as I’ve run out of space.
