The unit was very nice and as described. The only thing that was off was that in the bathroom, there were spider webs and plant droppings in the bathtub. Otherwise, very clean and comfortable — we wondered if it had been cleaned but quite a while before our arrival which would account for the stuff in the bathtub. We liked the neighborhood, felt safe, but found the walk to the train to be not as easy as we expected, since one of our party has a heart condition and difficulties with walking up hills. We usually therefore took the bus into Edinburgh because it was closer but it also took longer. Also, Bolt and Uber apparently do not go to Musselburgh so we tried to get a taxicab to Edinburgh for our departure, and the cab we had booked cancelled at the last minute so we had to drag our luggage up hills to catch the train — not fun or easy!

A lovely house to stay in away from the bustle of Edinburgh but is still within commutable distance. Musselburgh is also a lovely place, with a beach and lovely river running through the town.

Ideal location to travel into Edinburgh, short walk to the station then less than 10 minutes to the centre of Edinburgh, home was nice and clean with everything you need for home from home stay.

We had an excellent stay. The property was in a fantastic location, making it easy to get around and explore the area. We caught the train to Edinburgh, under 10mins to get there (£10 anytime return for 3 adults). It was spotlessly clean, very comfortable, and equipped with everything we needed for a relaxing stay. Communication was great, and everything was exactly as described. Parking was safe and convenient outside the property. We would happily stay here again and highly recommend it to anyone visiting the area.

Very responsive host! Leigh almost always replies immediately. Nice place as well, very quiet neighborhood, 4-5 mins walk to the bus stop that connects to the Edinburgh city centre, it takes 20-30 minutes to get there by bus. Kitchen is very well equipped. Place is clean and bathtub was scrubbed spotlessly!
