The property was as presented/described and in a great location for the local Sports Village, an event at which was the reason for our visit. Beds were comfy, there was limitless hot water and the decor clean and modern. We were particularly appreciative of the sympathetic response to a late checkout request.

Situated very close to Leigh town centre, with easy access to Leigh Sports Village which was the purpose of our visit. Several missing items (mugs, cutlery, towels) which were addressed very quickly and brought round. Belle was especially helpful via chat. The beds are very comfortable and they have laid it out well for a small terrace. The only thing i will say is that is starting to look a little run down and could do with a refresh on the decor. The stairs banister had also been removed (not sure whether by the host or previous guests?) which did present a bit of a challenge for my older in laws who were also staying as the stairs were so steep.

We were disappointed with our 5 night stay in the Midnight Manor. In our opinion the property was not as advertised and the photos were indeed taken to its advantage. The kitchen was not cleaned to a high standard. Dirty oven gloves hanging on the oven door, disgusting trays inside the oven and the oven itself was dirty. Some of the utensils in the 2nd kitchen drawer were not clean. There were no cleaning products, dish cloths, dish towels, iron, ironing board or airer, and not enough bath towels provided for our length of stay. There were no toiletries such as shampoo, conditioner or shower gel provided. I contacted the host and had a conversation regarding these missing essentials which they said they would deliver that day. We left the key in the key safe for them to do so but they never did deliver these items. We had to go and buy cloths and dish towels etc ourselves. This property did not meet our expectations, I would not stay here again or recommend it to friends.
