Nightmare check in. Received numerous emails before our arrival. Agreed check in time of 3 & informed them we had an appointment at 3.30. At 3.10 we were still waiting outside, so we called. They claimed the host would "be there soon". At 3.15pm there was still no sign, so we left for our appointment. 5 minutes later, they sent us details for a key lock box! Maddening. Similar situation at check out. We received reams of instructions. None of it applied to the location. Absolute nonsense. The communication felt like automated messages without acknowledgement of any of the difficulties experienced. Flat is far from "stunning". It is fine, but very tired, poorly appointed and it had an awful damp smell tinged with numerous air fresheners dotted around in an attempt to mask it. Bathroom was damp and peeling in places. Kitchen was very nice but incredibly empty. Nice Lindt chocolate on the bed, but would have preferred a tea towel in the kitchen.
