Really enjoyed our stay, the cottage was designed really nicely inside.

The cottage has been renovated very well with some great aesthetic touches throughout, the bedroom and bathroom are fantastic and comfortable. The hot tub was great, although it would benefit with some more outside lighting and plants. The only real issue we had was with the only shower, the controls were faulty which meant we were unable to regulate the temperature (it was either boiling hot or freezing cold). When we raised this with Phil, he was already aware but had failed to mention this to us before we got to the cottage. This was a bit of a disappointment, as this was the only washing facility. Some prior communication (or resolution) on this would have been appreciated.

This is our second stay at the cottage and it was still perfect. In such a peaceful and private location with loads of gorgeous walks nearby. Phil was very helpful and responded quickly to any queries. We booked our stay for my boyfriend’s birthday and Phil organised birthday decorations which made the whole thing even more special. Couldn’t fault anything. Very clean, beautifully decorated cottage in a perfect remote location.

Phil was an excellent and responsive host, answering our questions before and during our stay. The cottage was clean, charming and peaceful; we enjoyed the chance to disconnect and we happily would stay again.

A peaceful escape on the doorstep of Wales This place was exactly the reset we needed. Tucked off the beaten track, it's wonderfully peaceful and quiet — the kind of tranquility that's hard to find these days. Evenings in the hot tub, watching the night sky with barely any light pollution, were an absolute highlight; genuinely amazing stargazing right from the garden. Despite feeling remote and secluded, everywhere we wanted to go was a short, easy drive, and being right on the doorstep of Wales made exploring further afield simple too. Highly recommend if you're after somewhere calm, dark-skied, and well-placed for adventures nearby.
