The place looks clean and the studio is part of a house with a lot of people living in it and they are very loud at night, neighborhood is nice with a small park near by, had reservation for the next weekend but needed to cancel which I thought I did ahead of the 7 day requirement in order to get a 50% refund. I told the host in the morning that we needed to cancel, did not get a response for about an hour at which time I did not have access to the Airbnb app until 40 minutes after the cancelation deadline and got 0% refund. I have never stayed at an Airbnb that had a cancelation policy like this and Ryker claims it's Airbnb's policy, I am not stupid I am aware that the host sets the cancelation policy and while technically I did not meet the cancelation requirement, he knew my situation and could have helped but after going back and forth messaging on the app he just quit responding

Check-in is 4:00 PM. Please inform us of your approximate check-in and check-out times to help us coordinate with our cleaning team and other guests. If checking in after 10:00 PM, please keep noise to a minimum when arriving. Check-out time is 11:00 AM. Late check-out incurs a fee of $100 per hour. Please notify us of your planned check-out time so we can alert our housekeepers. Before leaving, kindly do the following: -Wash any used dishes and start the dishwasher -Start a load of towels (we’ll transfer them to the dryer). Please take out the trash. Leave the home in a generally clean and tidy condition. -Candles are strictly prohibited for fire safety reasons. Please do not bring or use candles in the home. -We understand accidents happen. Please notify us immediately via Airbnb messaging if any damage occurs during your stay. -A $50 per person fee may be applied for unauthorized guests to help deter parties or over-occupancy. -To help manage energy usage, please turn off lights and adjust the thermostat when leaving the house. -Please do not move or rearrange furniture. It complicates cleaning and resetting the space. -One pet is welcome with approval and a non-refundable fee of $100 per pet. Pets must be potty-trained and kept off furniture. Close bedroom doors to restrict pet access. A $200 fee applies for any pet waste left behind. You are solely responsible for the safety and behavior of your pet. -Please wipe their feet when they return from outside -Please do not use white towels to remove makeup. Makeup towels are provided. -For stays over 30 days, professional cleaning is required every 30 days. A $100 fee will be charged for each cleaning. -Do not unplug any devices, including smart home equipment, lamps, routers, or modems. Doing so may disable the smart lock or other systems and result in lockouts or service disruptions. -Please check thoroughly before you leave. Unfortunately, we are not able to package or ship items left behind.
