We had a lovely family stay, 4 adults and 2 children (6 & 8 yrs) and thoroughly enjoyed our time here. The view as you drive into the property is absolutely stunning and gives a wonderful first impression. There was plenty of space for all of us, and the children were delighted to find books and games to keep them entertained. We also appreciated the blackout blind in their room, which was a really thoughtful touch. The kitchen had everything we needed for our stay, making it easy to prepare meals when we weren’t out exploring. The pub next door is well worth a visit for food, although I’d recommend booking ahead as it can get busy. The beer garden has a lovely view of the castle and is a great place to sit and relax. During our stay, my husband had a minor paddleboarding mishap and, after speaking with NHS 111, we were seen at Swanage cottage hospital about 15 minutes away. The care we received was fantastic and gave us peace of mind. It was a great base for exploring the area 😊

The cottage is charming and has amazing views over Corfe castle and the surrounding countryside. The pub next door was quiet even on a bank holiday weekend and we went there twice for excellent food. Parking was good but it was extremely crowded in the car park because of bank holiday weekend. There are lots of little steps in the property but we soon got used to them. The kitchen and living room are good for a large family group and they open onto the charming garden which had lots of interesting plants. A parasol would have been nice in the garden during the heatwave. Kingston is a lovely village and there are some nice places to walk.

lovely cottage in pretty Kingston. well suited for a family trip. only there for three nights so the single beds for our young adult children was fine, any longer....but perfect for two families with younger children. there are beautiful walks to be had right on your doorstep. and it's perfectly situated next to the Scott Arms.

Beautiful house, had a lovely relaxing stay. Much bigger than it looks in photos. Plenty of utensils in kitchen, owners responded very quickly to a request and request was dealt with very quickly. Cosy lounge and comfortable beds. Home has stone floors due to character of the building so warm slippers advised. Welcome basket very much appreciated. House was decorated for the festive season which added to the feel. Owners were very helpful with letting us know about check in prior to our stay. Would definitely recommend.

Stayed here over the Christmas period. Perfect property for 7 adults. In beautiful countryside with a great walk across the fields to Corfe castle. Met all our needs. Great information and correspondence from the host. Outstanding.

Gorgeous area, with stunning views from the property. Check in / out was really easy. Jack was flexible, friendly & very responsive. It’s a great location for local areas, with lovely walks on the doorstep, as well as The Scott Arms next door. We were a bit hesitant about the pub being next door, but we didn’t hear it at all & having now eaten there too, we'd recommend it! Thanks for accommodating us - we reall enjoyed our stay & would definitely recommend Castle Forge!
