The owner was 2 hours late with check in, although they did inform us is was a massive inconvenience and it meant we had a long wait after a long drive. On opening the door we were greeted with the pungent aroma of cat pee which permiated the house, there was a also a nasty smell the bathroom and kitchen caused by a blocked drain that was right outside the window and although I informed the host no-one came to look at it and it got worse over our stay. There was mould and grime in the shower cubicle, although the rest of the bathroom was clean. There were only 3 forks in the kitchen, and comfortable seating for 3 adults on the sofa so someone was always left with a hard dining chair. The upstairs was clean, the mattresses ok, but the double in the second bedroom rocked when you moved. The drain made any outside access impossible although there was a seating area it was overgrown and inaccessible. It was not worth what we paid or the £19 a night I was charged for an additional person.

Unfortunately we arrived and the property was not clean, we raised this to the host who said they would contact the cleaner - they didn't, we then discovered mould in the bedroom and slugs in the bathroom as the property was so damp. We spoke to the host who agreed to a partial refund but is now ignoring me and has not accepted the refund via AirBNB - don't book here

Great place . Clean , spacious , hist was very responsive. We travelled for work. Would definitely recommend this place for larger groups .
