Lovely flat, host always responsive and helpful would recommend 👍🏼

Unfortunately our stay here had to be cut short as we suffered a few issues. The flat is in a recently converted Georgian house, the hallways smell of mould. The flat was clean and spacious, but had a smell of previous guests cooking and zero decor which leaves a cold unsettling feeling. This we could have accepted however the toilet seat was so loose as to make it unusable and a smell of drains started to fill the bathroom. We messaged the host who argued that the cleaners photos show the toilet seat as fine - he shared the photos which showed it in different positions actually confirming what I was reporting... Although we reported this right away, they offered to come out to look at the toilet the afternoon the next day - leaving us without a usable toilet for the day. Not acceptable so we opted to leave. The broadband in the flat also didn't work, they provided details of some other wifi

The apartment is beautiful! A luxury apartment (ah this morning light that enters through the large windows and illuminates the beautiful parquet!). If you're looking for a spacious, very bright space, one tip: go for it! Its location is ideal: a short walk to St Leonard train station, very close to the beach and about fifteen minutes walk to downtown Hastings. Our host was very responsive, attentive. In summary, if we returned to Hastings, we would not hesitate for a second, we would stay again in this beautiful apartment.
