The cottage itself is beautiful and very spacious, making it ideal for accommodating large groups comfortably. Unfortunately, we encountered a significant issue with the hot water. From the very first day, none of the seven bathrooms had hot water. Although we reported this promptly and the owner assured us it would be resolved, the problem persisted throughout our entire stay. Having to take only cold showers was extremely disappointing and impacted our overall experience. The garden is attractive and has great potential for outdoor enjoyment. However, guests should be aware that the cottage is surrounded by working farms. This brings strong farmyard smells and a large number of flies, which made it difficult to spend time outdoors or leave windows open without insects coming inside.

We had a fantastic time at Brookbank Farm. The house was beautiful and spacious. Beds were comfortable and the whole house was very clean. Would thoroughly recommend.
