Great place to stay with secure parking

Perfect home away from home for a few days while travelling with family. Living space and kitchen were spacious and well stocked. Beds were very comfortable (I slept through from night one) and we loved the location. Perfect for walking to Kynren and for exploring the castle and beyond. Thank you for having us.

Lovely little flat. Perfectly located, especially as we were visiting for Kynren. Everything we needed and more! If we were to pick, the single bedroom had no mirror and each room could benefit from a chair, but that's being very Picky!

Great location, lovely place to stay I’d recommend anyone who’s looking for somewhere to stay in the area to choose here. Would absolutely stay here again.

Right across from the Bishops Place and Mining museum. So right in the centre with private gated parking. But on the main road so very noisy with cars from early till late. Not much food after 4pm unless you like tapas. Town dead at night. Had to go out of town. Flat was easy to find. Not finished to a high standard. No mirrors in two bedrooms. Plenty of kitchen utensils and crockery. Beds were comfy. Electric heating took a while to heat the flat as the weather was cold. But once warmed it stayed warm. The stairs leading to the flat were really dirty. Full of dog hairs. It suited our needs for the weekend but would have preferred Barnard Castle.
