The house was clean, and the beds were comfortable, but for the rest the house did not meet our expectation. For the price I expect more than 'habitable'.

Ideally placed in Basildon. Good area, close to town and train station in walking distance. The house was nice, clean, well decorated and minimalist. Plenty of parking. It had the essentials available in the kitchen. Clean and tidy generally and the beds were comfortable. Nice hot shower. It would have got a 5 but we couldn’t use the garden for our grandchildren. It looks like the back wall fell down and a temporary metal gate was put up. I assume maybe due to the recent winds. The garden photo in the listing was taken to avoid the pile of bricks to the right hand side. Unfortunately there were bin bags at the bottom of the garden which had been ripped open and the grassy areas were overgrown (both front and back). I would have given a give star if it wasn’t for these issues. A nice 2 day stay but a bit pricy per night for what we got (£314).

lovely home away from home. Everything you need from an air b&b. Had a problem with the hot water at 9pm on the first night. Messaged our host and he replied straight away. He was with us within half an hour and sorted the problem straight away. Excellent service, thank you so much.
