A tastefully furnished flat in a beautiful old house on a wooded slope within a short walk of Durham centre. Apart from the owls hooting we had very peaceful nights.

Elegant apartment in Georgian home. Loved all the trees surrounding the home and the ability to walk from the home along the river to the city. Only problem was the igniter for the gas stove didn't light which delayed our dinner plan as we had to walk into town to buy matches. We texted the company about this and sent a picture of the stove but did not hear back. I suppose they thought that we had remedied the problem by using matches but it would have been nice to have been contacted about the situation.

The property was really lovely. Comfortable and homely. Love the big windows and the wooden floors. Taxis do find it complicated to find but it’s an easy scenic walk into town.

Great location - peaceful, quiet location and just over 10 minutes walk to the town centre. Also like it was close to the river and beautiful walks. Flat was clean and reasonably well equipped.
