Really good value for money

Brilliant little place which was perfect for some much needed mother daughter time. Hot tub was excellent and when we wanted some wood for a fire the host was really helpful. Easy to find and location was great for exploring. Yes there is a main road and yes it can be noisy at times but it didn't cause us any issues. Would happily rebook here.

Overall it was not worth the money we paid, we chose this place for the amenities however once we got there the hot tub did not work for a whole day and we had to buy the coal and logs ourselves as the host did not supply us with any ( we were happy to pay but they didn’t not organise this for us). The location is odd and not explained very well, it is situated behind a roundabout with every fast food chain possible, the hut is behind a few Airbnb properties on a farm like stay, so it’s not exactly in someone backyard, the property is in a private (ish) location but it is very noisy, there is just fence departing the hut from a retail shop so it’s not super safe either. The hut itself was dusty, the duvet and pillows were thin, the bed was not comfortable at all and there is not much space. Overall it is not worth the money and the location is not close to anything (walks/towns etc)

Lovely and cosy place to stay! Hot tub was heated and ready for us arriving, and was tucked away beside the hut behind some trees, so very private. We needed firewood for our fire which was available to purchase, the firewood hadn’t been re-stocked on this occasion and within 5mins the owner was out with barrow full of logs for us. Very prompt and kind. Some previous reviews mention the noise from the road being too loud, me being someone who needs silence to sleep and who wears earplugs, I didn’t find the noise too loud and slept peacefully. Would definitely stay again ☺️ Thanks again!

The hut was lovely and great location for shops/restaurants. The hot tub did break on the first night which was frustrating and meant we didn’t get to use it for a day, however Janet, the owner, was really hospitable and allowed us to use their hot tub which was so kind of them! Lovely hosts and hut, would recommend to others
