When you see the bad reviews - believe them!! I was traveling with family for the marathon for the week. It is exactly as the bad reviews indicate - water damage in each bathroom, leaking ceilings, flooded kitchens, moisture and mold, you name it. And as soon as we reported them to Airbnb, they sent us a bill for “heavily soiled” towels (and trying to accuse us of “breaking into” an unlocked linen closet with no sign after not responding to a request for additional towels - they left 1 per person for a weeks stay with no floor bathmats and significant water damage in every bathroom). When I say this house is an Airbnb’s version of a slum lord, believe it. The reviews don’t lie - there is a reason they are so poorly rated and my hope is that Airbnb reconsiders allowing them to list properties because these are unacceptable.

The way the property was described wasn’t how it is in person .it was not a family home as every room had a Lock as if it was normally rented separately and there was no living room the house needed a little more our family Christmas trip was ruined by not being able to eat together and making memories. Also communal areas had cameras Which to me means that the house is not what they advertise as a six bedroom house.

I'm not sure 1000 characters is enough to describe everything that was wrong. Dried bogeys on curtains in Rm1, disgusting - also broken catch in toilet door - well, 2 doors that were fixed together as 1. Blanket over sofa dirty in sitting area. Kitchen - dirty limescale in kettle, no saucepans, 3 frying pans that were all scratched and rusty. Both washer and dishwasher broken and we were not informed of this. Photo shows a microwave, this was missing. Room 6 - has a lip on floor going into the bathroom which is not highly visable. My grandson tripped and fell onto the toilet basin, banging his head. There is also one in room 5 - these need high viz tape on them. Room 5 - i held into the handrail to climb out of the bath and it fell off one side as the outer nut is missing. This could have been dangerous. Bath mats would be good to climb out onto. Most of the blinds had broken plastic bits This place could be so much better with a little TLC - sorry to say we wouldn't book here again.
