House and Host all ok, just had not have been out choice initially, and a bit of inconvenience due to extra travel distance, but to be fair, was an unfortunate that the initial place wasn't available due to need fixing and they did give us an immediate option. A remark : We clearly booked for 4 people, and there was not enough towels! 😉😊. Other than that, house is great 👍

Very comfortable and very clean. We would have liked a bigger saucepan to cook pasta/spaghetti in. We had to borrow one from our local family! Also,fans in the bedrooms would be beneficial going forward as it was very hot the days we were in Durham and we could not sleep with the windows open because of the noise from the road in front of the house. You are however insulated well from the noise with triple double glazing in the front rooms of the house.

The house was very clean, tidy and was equipped with everything we needed. Had been recently tastefully redecorated and was free of clutter etc. Garden does need some attention - we were unable to sit outside which would have been nice to have been able to do as the weather was so amazing.
