The location and house itself were very handy for visiting family in the area. We had a few issues, and while Beverly was very quick to respond, the issues weren’t resolved. We were there for a week (my husband, my son, and myself). There was barely half a roll of paper towels in the kitchen and we couldn’t find any extras. When I sent a message, I was told that’s all there was, but there should be a kitchen towel. When I finally found the towel in the bottom of a drawer, it was stained and smelled awful. There is a washer, but no laundry soap provided (I didn’t bring any with me for a week trip), so I couldn’t even wash and use it. Not the host’s fault, but we didn’t find someone else was filling the trash bins outside, so we couldn’t take our trash out, which led to ants in the kitchen. They were overflowing when we got there on Sat. The bins were emptied Thurs, and when we cleared up Fri ahead of leaving, it was full before we put anything in it.

Great location to explore gardens around London and easy commute to London City as well. park and ride is under 2 miles from the property to take London underground and also national railways. Many supermarkets close to the property so stocking up on supplies was easy. Travelled with my 5 year old son who has autism and living room was spacious enough for him to play around. Coffee machine and air fryer in the kitchen were added bonus. Could not access rear garden as it was slightly overgrown but it was not a deal breaker. Host Beverly was very helpful and she even ordered a replacement fan which was delivered to the property the next day.. it was a blessing as weather was hot and we could sleep well at night. House is new build and well insulated. Neighbourhood is quiet and peaceful. Parking off road was very convenient and it accommodated our mini bus without issues. lovely property and a great host.

We had a pleasant stay overall. The place was clean, well-located, and matched the basic description, which made it a comfortable base for our trip. Check-in was straightforward, and the host was responsive and helpful when needed.

Beverley was a wonderful host and we had a great stay. She was incredibly flexible and attentive throughout our time there. When our children were having trouble sleeping, she kindly arranged to change the mattresses, which made a big difference for us. We also really appreciated the top-up cleaning during our month-long stay, which helped keep everything comfortable and well-maintained. Overall, a very positive experience and we would happily stay again.

Shiloh Cottage was just as described and exactly what we needed! From requesting booking to when we left the house, we had excellent, clear communication with Beverley, an excellent host. The house was lovely and warm, just as in the photos and as described, with parking for 2 cars. The house itself has been thought about, with all the fixtures and fittings needed, everything was provided for, including a thick rubber mat in the kitchen, good for the joints when standing still for long periods of time! There were some homely touches, with lovely scented candles, to make sure it was a welcoming space. The location was perfect, just 1.5 kilometres from the hospital, where we were visiting a close relative - and just a bit further away was a fabulous pub, The Red Lion, which I highly recommend! I appreciated the house being in a quiet residential area, all in all it was perfect for our needs, we had an extra night there as it was just so convenient! Thank you Beverley!

Thank you Beverley for being such a great host ! From reservation Beverley promptly answered my questions with a friendly welcoming manner . The pictures of the cottage look great and are exactly what you find in the property, a beautiful home from home with everything you need . Beautiful bedding and pillows , clean bathrooms with fluffy towels and products . Well equipped kitchen with complimentary coffee capsules , tea and sugar. The whole property had been given lots of TLC ready for our arrival , we enjoyed our time with our family very much in the warm cozy but spacious cottage . We will definitely be booking Christmas 2026! 10/10
