Great location for Durham and Newcastle. Clean and well presented ideal for a couple rather than 2 couples as 2nd bed and bedroom was very cramped. Very steep stairs for anyone not agile or dangerous for small children. Kitchen was well equipped and lounge was comfortable. Overall a good stay value for money

Very comfortable place to stay, we felt right at home and comfortable. The kitchen was well equipped and very clean. Linens were clean and the main bedroom very spacious and airy. Beautiful simple decor and felt very calm and uncluttered. When we first arrived we found the house to be very cold (perhaps nobody had stayed in a while), the host sent someone out to look and confirmed that the heating was working, however the bathroom remained very cold during our stay. Take slippers.
