We really wanted to leave a glowing review as this is a lovely, well-designed property in a great location with spacious rooms. Unfortunately, our stay was let down by a few issues. The fridge/freezer wasn’t working throughout our stay, which was disappointing as we’d booked expecting to self-cater. The games room also wasn’t as advertised, with two broken pool cues and no TV. The garden wasn’t in a usable condition, and the outdoor bins were already full. The house was a little untidy on arrival and a bedroom drawer was broken, although we appreciate there may have been a quick turnaround. Communication was okay, but I was disappointed to be told I was being disrespectful after expressing my disappointment about the fridge not being repaired and our groceries for the weekend spoiling. A few small touches, like including the TV password in the welcome information, would also help. We’d happily return if these maintenance issues were resolved.

Very cooperative host! Place was amazing to stay in for a few days. Had comfortable beds and a very clean environment. Would very much recommend to anyone wanting to stay in the area
