Great location, ideal for a wedding we attended nearby. Unfortunately the house itself was absolutely filthy in multiple places, to the point we couldn’t use the kettle and some towels, and does need some TLC as a lot of scuffs and dirty marks on walls and doors. That being said, when mentioned to the hosts they responded quickly and apologised and we came to an arrangement.

Not much to add, great location, house exactly what we wanted, vrry clean and nice garden.

Me and some friends stayed in this property as a reunion gathering, which included several couples and their children. It worked very well for this! As part of the check-in process, I requested specific set-up for the rooms (e.g. kings, 2x singles, etc.) as the advert suggested was possible. The owner contacted me on the check-in day to apologise and say that this had been overlooked (to be fair, on their check-in form there was no clear way to specify this - and I had used the general comment field). This was not a big problem - we were able to adapt accordingly - and I think this was an honest oversight. But my recommendation would be to proactively reach out to the owner in advance to confirm the set-up, and any additional items (such as high chairs) are as you desire.

The surrounding is alright with people living around and tight parking spots. Free parking was the benefit. The accommodation is alright but during our stay the downstairs washroom was not functional and had to use the only functional ones at the top floor. Property needs maintenance as a lot of spider webs and dust. It was alright for a party of 9 people as we had to attend a wedding.

The house was pleasantly decorated and was spacious enough for our large group. It was quiet and the rest of Basingstoke was accessible. We had all the facilities we needed and everything was working properly.

Our work guys have stayed here a few times now, great communication and no issues.
