The house was clean and comfortable, the location is not the best, being on a council or possibly ex pit housing estate, probably more suitable for contractors, the gardens both front and rear were very overgrown and definitely in need of a tidy up, not ideal for a sit outside, the neighbours were very quite apart from our adjoining semi neighbours who played depressing music during the early hours which wasnt loud but well within ear range at 1 am Great place inside the rest not so good.

On first impressions when we arrived, the place appeared clean and adequately furnished. However, when looking at equipment and amenities in the kitchen, I was really disappointed. I had booked an Airbnb for myself, partner and two grandchildren, aged 7 and 4, because, to keep costs down on holiday, we prefer to self cater. I also chose this property because it had a back garden for the kids to play in. To start with the kitchen. There was a smell of drains/stagnant water on entering the kitchen. We discovered that this was coming from the sink and the blocked drain outside the back door, which flooded everytime the sink or bath was emptied. There was also a disconnected pipe to the rear of the property, where the water also poured out of. The smell caused from this pipe and the blocked drain was horrendous and nauseating. If we had been out for the day, we had to open door

Will use again

I would not recommend this house, bathroom dirty, spider webs and spiders walked over my bed. Furthermore, terrible rusty pans, have purchased a pan ourselves but have not been reimbursed. Sarah offered to deliver a new pan the next morning, did not happen, had to send a reminder and in the evening a small pan was brought. Furthermore, dirty and broken shower curtain and rail came down last day without us touching the curtain at all. Not a cozy neighborhood, front and backyard unkempt, front yard full of cigarette butts, fence was off its hinges. Fence in backyard (border with neighbors) was flat. Plus points : good beds, good WiFi and shops nearby.

All was great. Only negative was the condition of the garden. Looked like the neighbour's fence had fallen down, so no separation between gardens. An easy repair... so long as the neighbours are nice. 😏
