This Cathedral Road flat is an attic apartment with adequate kitchen facilities, but we did not cook because the flat was unbearably hot during our stay. The bed is comfortable and the flat is quiet. The only hanging bar is too low to hang a jacket or dress. We bought door hooks to hang our clothes. The bathroom has a tiny hook, and no shelf or cabinet to hold a toilet bag. No instructions were provided for the Nest thermostat or the bathroom heater, which were both on when we arrived on a warm day. The hosts were not proactive about the forecast of a red level heat alert in Cardiff. They were responsive to our requests for fans and to turn off the remote controlled thermostat. Despite closed blinds, sun on the windows raised the flat temp to 27C-36C for 7 days. The balcony was pleasant and catches a breeze. But it is littered with leaves from the dead potted plants and the table rim has flaking rust. This is a fairly expensive AirBnB, and we do not recommend it in warm weather.

We had a great stay. The apartment was very comfortable and well located.

Lovely flat and lovely location. Slightly disappointed that I wasnt able to use parking at rear of property, but on street parking was allowed right in front of the property and this was a pleasant surprise as so many areas in Cardiff are denoted permit parking only. The flat itself was ideal for what I needed, and although had initial issue with hot water, the hosts were very responsive and helpful. Very comfortable bed and comfy sofa. No issues with check in. I would not hesitate to book this flat again
