Basement apartment in the Whitechapel neighborhood. Listing was as described. The hosts were very responsive. Numerous buses and a metro station are less than a 10-minute walk away. There are also many shops in the area. Quiet and secure street. Recommended!

Martin’s place was a good flat for a short trip to London! The flat came with good benefits (outdoor patio and workable kitchen). I would say the place can benefit from better hygiene - there were noticeable smells on the bedding, and the kitchen utensils had stains on them. Keep it up!

Good place to stay for a weekend. Just that apartment is in basement there is stairs.

We had a lovely stay. The apartment is spacious for 4 people (2 people on a sofa bed), with an outdoor terrace as well. The bedding in the bedroom is good; the sofa bed is less comfortable. The apartment is located in a quiet cul-de-sac. Only the comings and goings of the hospital helicopter right next door are noisy, but it does not fly at night. It is a 5-minute walk from Whitechapel station, which provides easy access to all of London. Otherwise, the neighborhood has no particular interest... Martin is very responsive and makes sure everything goes smoothly during the stay.

Well-located and easily accessible accommodation; the patio is very nice. There is no coffee machine, no pillows for those who sleep on the sofa (the decorative cushions are not for that), and a curtain on the glass door of the living room would be a plus to be able to sleep

Great place to stay for 4 people, lot's of space, nice inside patio to have a coffee outside. Quick walk to white chapel station to reach city centre or anything else on your wish list :)
