I booked this Airbnb for my parents, and they enjoy their stay very much. The kitchen is nice with all essentials things which make them feel like home. The bedroom allows the morning sunshine to come in which made my mom very happy.

Overall a bad experience, would not recommend. After booking the apartment I was asked to go on a private Internet Site and upload pictures of my ID. I refused to do so and asked airbnb for help. The host agreed to wave this requirement. One day before travelling I received a message that I have to make a 200 pounds deposit in order to get the check-in details, again over a private site. At that point, I would have lost my money if I would have refused to do so. Found this very uncomfortable. Airbnb helped me send the money through their site. The aparment had a very bad smell, the mattresses were very old, extremely soft and uncomfortable. There was no mirror in the bathroom. The fridge had a 30cm layer of ice inside, the water boiler had not been cleaned in ages and was full of calcifications. I was told I would receive a refund within 3/4 days after checking out. This did not happen, so I had to contact the host and only after this they initiated the refund.

Booked this place for a weekend away the hosts were very responsive and helpful. The place was really clean would highly recommend.

The stay was ok. However, some things were less than okay. The second lock on the door was broken, there was no hot water in the kitchen and also in the bathroom sink. Maybe we should have turned on the boiler or something, but that was neither mentioned in the video nor explicitly communicated. The oven barely worked, it took us 40 minutes for two ready-made pizzas. And the apartment had to be aired for 24 hours to get rid of the smell. Unfortunately, Netflix didn't work for us either. What was positive was the free parking in front of the door and the quiet location.

The place went well, even though he gave us a little trouble finding a key. The place is in a good location. Thank you
