Pleasant stay in a peaceful neighbourhood. Would recommend.

The stay was average overall. The rooms are spacious, but the property feels quite dated and could benefit from some maintenance and updates. We paid around £290 for two nights, including a £75 cleaning fee, which felt expensive considering the condition of the property. There were a few issues during our stay, including furniture that needs attention and some maintenance concerns. The surrounding area is fairly quiet with not much happening nearby, although Morrisons and bus stops are within about an 8-minute walk. Overall, the property was acceptable, but we did not feel it offered good value for the price.

Accommodation in a very quiet location with parking and good connections to London. If the defective equipment is repaired, then everything will be fine.

Starting with the pros, the area is amazing: peaceful and private. The apartment is very beautiful and spacious with 3 bedrooms and a bathroom. The hosts were kind and responsive and the check-in was easy. The frequently used amenities (beds, bath, toilet and sinks) were well cleaned. Everything listed was provided. For the cons, we'd have to start with the doors. We had issue locking the front door which was resolved by the end of our stay as we weren't familiar with this technique. But even with both doors closed, there was a lot of cold air coming into the apartment. We didn't figure out the thermostat early on. When we did, the space didn't manage to get warmer (because of the poor door insulation or our wrong setting?). In one of the bedrooms the heater was not working at all. The surrounding things weren't sufficiently clean (sticky table/counter), stains on doors etc. We didn't manage to work out the TV channels and it'd be useful if there were plug adapters for EU visitors.

It's a little expensive, but considering it's London, it can't be helped.
