November 2025
We stayed from Friday 7th November to Sunday 9th November. It’s a nice place in the centre of town and great location-wise. However, on arrival we noticed the toilet seat was broken and the shower had a leak. We reported this as soon as we noticed it, but nothing was done all day Saturday. Someone eventually came out around 7-8pm on Saturday evening, which didn’t leave much time considering we checked out the next morning at 10am. There are also a few build quality issues. The screws on the chair came off with a small knock, and the kettle felt very cheap and awkward to open. Even the curtain rails are fitted the wrong way round. Overall, it feels like the place was put together quickly to get it rented rather than ensuring all the small things were right. The potential is definitely there with the location, but attention to detail needs improving.
