The apartment is really nice for 4 people. We experienced a lack of parking permits and a lack of bed linens for 2 out of 6 guests, for which we received a sincere apology. Be aware of additional costs beyond Airbnb.

Nice accommodation in a quiet area, with parking and easy to get to the city center by public transportation. However, for an apartment for 5 people, the dining area and kitchen are far too small. It is almost impossible for 5 people to eat together at the table in the kitchen. 2 bathrooms is a plus, though. Behind the accommodation runs the River Leith with a nice walking path.

The place was correct

The apartment was up to expectations. Located outside the city center, but public transport is right outside the door. We usually took a cab. Big plus for 2 bathrooms. Very convenient when we were 4 adults. The kitchen has a microwave, kettle, coffee maker and toaster. Somewhat poor selection of kitchen utensils. The frying pan should be replaced. We had a nice week, but the fact that the window in one of the bedrooms wouldn't open was a drawback. It was notified already after the first night. The handyman didn't come until 3 days later. It turned out that the child lock was activated, so a key would have solved the problem. This was not taken care of before we left, even though it was reported right away. I have no qualms about renting through Airbnb in the future, but I expect that reported problems will be resolved within a reasonable time.

Very good experience . Calm place and easily approachable to city. Recommended for this property to get if you r travellling to Edinburgh
