Had a fantastic 2 night stay at Chloe’s The property was as described and in a perfect location for us and our dog, literally a couple of minute walk to the riverside and Rowntree park. We had everything we needed for our stay and Chloe was a superb host. She kept us up to date on check in times, gave great advice on places to go and things to do. We would return without hesitation!

Great little house, perfect for our family weekend in York! Easy 1/2hr walk to the city, local convenience stores, coffee shop & pub close by! House was clean & just as described in the listing!

This was the perfect stay for a quiet get together with a few friends to see in the New Year. The facilities were easy to use, and the fridge/freezer was extremely spacious which was great for what we brought. The fact there was a smart TV with easy access to streaming services is an excellent addition - you don’t always get this in stays so this meant we could watch what we wanted with no trouble. The only negatives is the parking on street as it can be quite crowded - we got lucky with a space, but if there’s a small group of you, it’s best to minimise how many vehicles you take. House was warm, spacious and tidy. Communication with Chloe was slow but positive. Floors were sticky and dusty and we needed to mop them. Piles of open rotting food in the yard that we needed to bag up. It's a shame our first impressions were tainted by this. Once sorted, the house was adequate for our stay.

Quiet road easy to park outside . Easy to walk to Bishy rd ,1 5 minutes . Beds were comfortable upstairs . Staircase steep for elderly or infirm .

A lovely home for the week, well equipped and comfortable in a great location. would recommend!
