The location was good, but unfortunately the flat itself was disappointing. The shower had mould along the seal and in the corners, and both the bathroom and fridge were dirty when we arrived. There also appeared to be broken parts from the shower door left in the tray. The flat is listed as sleeping four people but only has a small two-seater sofa, which didn’t feel adequate. Outside, the garden was overgrown and the garden furniture looked like it hadn’t been cleaned in a long time. There was also no kettle, which feels like a very basic item that should be provided. The pillowcases had makeup stains on them and there were visible marks on the bed headboard. Some areas of the flat, such as around the boiler and walls near the appliances, also looked poorly maintained. Overall it felt like the property hadn’t been properly cleaned or checked before our stay and would benefit from a thorough deep clean and better upkeep.

Great property and great host. The price was good and William was really helpful. Lots of local amenities and pleasant country walks. Highly recommend

The flat overall was well presented and well-equipped. The main issues were related to the family Christmas lunch we had planned which meant we needed to move the sofa (the floor underneath needed hoovering) and to ask for additional cutlery and crockery. William responded very quickly with exactly what we requested. It was lovely to meet him and we very much enjoyed our stay; we'll definitely keep this property in mind for a future trip!
