Good location and character, but cleanliness and basic supplies were lacking. On arrival all of the dishes and glasses were dirty and there was no washing‑up liquid. The sofa had a fresh stain and there was human vomit in the driveway. The dishes and sofa were address the after we arrived. The kitchen lacks enough plates and cutlery for six (the property is advertised for up to 6 guests) and is missing basic utensils (no can opener or corkscrew), so if you’re into cooking, check to see if the provision has improved . Other issues: persistent cooking smell in the carpet, stained curtains, a lounge door off its hinges, and only bath towels (no hand towels). We asked for a partial refund because of these problems and the host refused. The property has potential but needs better cleaning and basic provisioning. All can be evidenced with photos.

The house is very warm. The house is very large. Good privacy. Suitable for a family.

Beautiful house and great parking! Spot on location for me just off A64 and still walkable to city centre. Would recommend.
