When you’re charged
You’re charged when your booking is confirmed, and on each date in your payment plan.
If you pay in full, you’re charged when you book. With a payment plan, the first part is charged when you book and the rest automatically, to the same card:
- Pay half now, half later — the second half 7 days before check-in.
- Monthly payments — each month’s payment on the day that month of your stay starts.
Your trip in Trips shows whether your stay is paid in full or part paid.
For a stay the host needs to approve, your payment goes through once the host accepts.
Payment didn’t go through?
Check your card details and that your bank allows the payment, then try again. If it still fails, contact us and we’ll help.
