Positives: tastefully decorated/recent refurb/brand new bedding Positives: when I let the hosts know I felt the description of ‘peaceful escape’ and ‘walked garden’ was misleading they changed it immediately Negatives: this house is an ex council house on an estate well known for its questionable reputation. I wish I had googled this before I visited!! No shower other than shower fitting on taps (can only use if sit in bath)- again I assumed there’d be a shower (my bad) Front grass and rear paved yard are full of weeds Arrived to dog poop (more than one lot) on front garden Felt a little uncomfortable on the estate. We saw 3 XL bullies within first 12 hrs of our visit After doing research on the area (on our arrival) We felt it necessary to move our car to nearby West Wickham and we took Ubers to and fro. Admittedly some of this would have been avoided if I had just googled the area before coming, however I was convinced by the pretty pictures and previous description.
