Fantastic venue for a group holiday. We filled the castle it 15 people and we had so much space. The hot tub and sauna were a lovely extra luxury and the star gazing was superb. Loved everything about it.

John and Susan were fantastic hosts and we couldn’t recommend the castle more! We felt right at home as soon as we arrived and John gave us a tour of the castle and its history and the surrounding property. We had an absolutely lovely time and enjoyed every party of our stay

Our family gathering at the castle was a once in a lifetime experience! Sue and John are amazing hosts and were always available to help in anyway! We wish we could have stayed even longer...thank you for sharing your lovely castle!

It was certainly a warm and cosy, beautiful atmospheric home. My 6 grandchildren loved it, playing hide and seek, ghost hunting, hot tub after breakfast. Out walking by the shore and climbing mountains (wee hills and cliff faces). sword fighting in the grounds and spotting the deer and pheasants then ending the day cosying up by the open fire with hot choc and board games. The Beds are super comfy. Rooms are all very spacious and well equipped. Everyone including the dogs had the best Xmas

Sue and John were very welcoming and supplied us with clear instructions and information on the history of the castle. The Castle and grounds are even more impressive in real life. I enjoyed a fabulous weekend at Colliston with family and friends. The kitchen was well stocked and all the bedrooms, dining and sitting rooms were spacious and very comfortable. The house is very large and there are a few stairs to climb to get to the top floor. The gardens are beautiful and the wood fired hot tub was a new experience! We had a superb stay and I would highly recommend.
