Arrived just after contractors had stayed. looking at bin it must've been for a while. we met the cleaner on premises just leaving. immediately we noticed the STRONG smoking smell. it was ingrained in curtains, carpets and stairway. texted host. they said they noticed smoking outside on ring doorbell but not inside? he brought cheap sprays. it was def inside and terribly strong. place is a bit rundown and cheap fittings. I bought my own sprays and candles £20. my aunt has COPD so not great we had to endure the sprays. dog stank of fags after walking round. then son had bath only for it to pour into dining room. luckily found pots and towels to help mop it up. plumber came when we were out said crack in bath. told not to shower if can help it. 5 of us there. came back after day out and no clean up of pots or towels and electricity still switched off. no communication to say what to do. 1 dish towel provided, dirty. towels were new so didnt dry. no hand towels or bath towel. poor.

Home was quite cozy, slept a couple and 2 others nicely. The hosts had it clean and it was a fun stay!

Great host, exactly what you want when travelling with a team. Communication was great from start to finish, and check-in was hassle free. The place was exactly as described and the team especially loved the table football, a great touch after a long work day. Overall, a comfy place that made work away easy. We’re already planning to stay next week.
