Booked for aprox 4 weeks & travelled a long way, so this was a real letdown. I chose this place for the in-unit washer, which was broken on arrival and host only disclosed this after check-in. It took 14 days to be fixed, and the host’s derisory offer of compensation didn’t come close to cutting it. Hard going with two toddlers. The unit wasn’t clean on arrival and needed a cleaner sent round. Mould on the shower silicone, dusty surfaces, dead bathroom fan, wrong-size toilet seat, broken blinds the host promised to fix but never did. Badly underequipped: too few bath towels and tea towels for three guests, no proper crockery sets, no decent cleaning products, & told to pay for extra linen, so I bought my own. 2/3 freezer drawers frozen shut. Cupboards full of the host’s belongings. Walls unpainted, looked mid-renovation. Then they tried to add a cleaning fee two weeks in. The host was responsive to issues, which I’ll credit. Great place lovely location.

I stayed here with my mum to visit friends and family in Bedford, and we were very pleased with our choice. The flat is cosy and comfortable, and felt very homely. There are some interesting and unusual items of furniture in the spacious, open-plan living room. The kitchen is well equipped and there is a good sized TV. Although I was slightly worried that the bed in the living room would be uncomfortable, this was not the case at all at all - I slept extremely well there, as did my mum in the bedroom. The shower had good water pressure. The building itself is modern, with lift access to the apartment, and we heard very little noise. The location is great - a pleasant area around 10 minutes walk from the centre of town, but also on a bus route, which was helpful for my mum, who can't walk very far. I found the Renzo team to be helpful, polite and very responsive. They provided clear check-in instructions, and the video guides for appliances were also very useful.
