Last minute accommodation needed, the place was relatively clean and smelt fresh. Unfortunately it was very cold, and the people who had stayed previously had left rubbish all over the back yard and entrance. I had booked as the listing advised of 5 bedrooms, three doubles with a single bed, a double room and a single room. There were only 4 rooms, which complicated things slightly. The first night we had no lights upstairs, the next day maintenance came and advised us there is a switch downstairs that needs to remain on for the lights upstairs to work? But no sign or manual advising of this. The beds weren’t the comfiest, but overall it was okay. Parking around the area is permit only, enough space for a car in the yard out back. Very bare amenities, no hand soaps available or kitchen roll. Very basic.
