The lounge had a cigarette smoke smell and a cigarette burn in the couch. There were broken shelves in the fridge and freezer and not enough cutlery was supplied (only had 2 forks and 2 tea spoons). There was maintenance issues in the bathrooms (moldy sealant and grout) and also in the kitchen (edging coming away by the sink). The carpet could do with being replaced, very worn and stained. We tried to clean and get rid of the smell while we were there. We also tried to vacuum (but the vacuum bag was full and produced dust and smell when used). Luckily we had family living close by and we spent most of our time at their house. It was a big disappointment considering the money we spent.

A great location and ideal size for a family. A modern house with a fun activity table for the family to play. Unfortunately, there were no bath mats, hand towels or a tea towel and a limited amount of cutlery which made life a little more tricky when more than 4 people were eating a meal. There was a smell of sick or urine of the bedding/ soft furnishings.

Ideal location for us. Can't complain.
