This place is inexpensive and in a good location. The only thing is, it was shamefully dirty. When we arrived, the sheets weren’t clean—there was hair, body hair, and stains—and the trash cans hadn’t been taken out; there were marks in the toilet. I refuse to believe that someone came to clean before we arrived.

Overall: The apartment is decent and good for the price. The airbnb is in a good location. <5 minutes from tesco supermarket and <5 minutes (in the other direction) to the jewellery quarter. The place can house 4 if you want to be uncomfortable, 2 is for the best and 3 if you want to push it. The airbnb has 4 of everything: glasses, mugs, plates and bowls. Cleaning: Upon arrival the bathroom walls have a bit of dirt on them, cutlery is stained and dirty and we have to wash them ourselves. There is a room with cleaning supplies and disinfectant which makes it easy to clean, however there is no cloth to wipe down surfaces and the dish sponge is the only option to wipe them down. Heads up to those planning to do laundry: The washing machine is a washing machine and dryer but the dryer function seems to be weak as clothes often come out damp and cold. There is a place to air dry clothes but we haven’t used it as we didn’t notice it until the end of the stay.

From booking to communication and arriving everything went well and looked forward to our stay. The photos matched in person but… bathroom- walls was dirty , shower edges black mould, bath tub plastics all broken of at the bottom, bath drain lock broken Bedroom - scared to sleep on it in case the bed frame fell through, some broken slats and make shift supports that didn’t do nothing, mattress needs changing as the springs kept digging in back. Lounge kitchen area was actually really good space to chill out with all essentials provided Sofa bed was more comfy than the main bed but still not the best. Parking- when was available outside the front perfect . When there isn’t may have to park further down or to do many laps around to find space. Overall not an amazing experience but not the worst. But it definitely has potential to be top class Needs refining and it will have us back in future but not until then

The property itself was nice and in a good location. However, there was a very strong smell of smoke even though this property is listed as smoke free. We only stayed an hour and had to leave due to this causing breathing difficulties/coughing/wheezing due to asthma. I requested a refund due to this but as yet, this has still not been resolved- disgusting and I would not recommend staying here.
